Generate Flashcards or Quizzes in Nouswise

Use the Activities panel to create study assets from your project sources.

Generate flashcards or quiz

1. Open your project.

2. Click Activities.

3. Click Flashcards or Quiz.

4. Configure optional prompt/settings in the action panel.

5. Click Run Action.

6. Review output file(s) in the right Outputs panel.

Flashcard and quiz settings

For Flashcards and Quiz, you can adjust:

• Custom Prompt

• Questions size: Short, Normal, Long

• Difficulty: Easy, Medium, Hard, Extreme

• Save this as a reusable action

Tip: Add a prompt like Create 15 exam-level flashcards from source X for more targeted results.

Example generated outputs

The examples below show completed outputs after generation.

If generation fails or is weak

1. Make sure at least one source is attached to the project.

2. Narrow your prompt to one chapter, section, or concept.

3. Lower difficulty for first-pass drafts.

4. Re-run with fewer questions, then iterate.
