Add or discover new sources for your project

A source is a file or link used as evidence for project chat and generation.

Add sources to a project

1. Open your project.

2. In the left Sources area, click Attach Files.

3. Choose one path:

4. Upload New to upload a new file to Library and attach it.

5. Choose from library to attach existing files.

6. In the picker, search or browse and select sources.

Discover reusable sources

In the source picker, switch between tabs like My library, Books, and Scholars to discover reusable material.

Source selection tips

• Attach only sources needed for the current task.

• Remove unrelated sources before high-precision prompts.

• Reuse library content across multiple projects when relevant.

Troubleshoot source issues

1. If files do not appear, reopen Choose from library.

2. If wrong context appears in chat, verify attached sources in the left Sources panel.

3. If upload fails, retry with a smaller or different file.

Tip: Attach only the sources relevant to your current question to improve answer quality.
